Oma was living in California and got really sick. We siblings all came to cheer her up. Bill has a really funny thingie on his lip.

I came across this photo of Kevin when he was three years old. He was a very sick little guy at this point. He stayed at Phoenix Childrens Hospital for three months. He came home on Lindsays birthday. Hurray!

Gee the good old days in California. We all came together to visit Oma and Opa.

Okay did the bride escape when she met all of us???? Actually this is a picture of the California reception. Bill and Lisa were burned to a crisp from hanging out at the beach all day.

Dating years

Ron is smiling because I am sure Opa said something very embarrassing. Ron and I were at Long Beach Marina for a first time visit. I think Opa kept offering him money to marry me cause I was 26 and single.

I think its good to look back at old pictures and remember life experiences. It makes you appreciate the blessing that you have. I hope my girls never have to experience breast cancer but if they do then I think I will be able to be a great support for them.

New haircut

Ron shaved his sisters hair off ten years ago. Little did he know he would be shaving my hair off in March 06.

I had to have this done WAY too many times. Eight sessions of chemo and lots of needle pokes to go along with all this cancer stuff.

Cancer Schmancer

Lindsay wanted to zoom in and get this close up of me during my last chemo session. I was soooo happy to be finished with that part of my cancer adventure.

impaired blogger

Its pretty bad when I have to wait until my kids get home from school to ask them how to use my computer. Something just is not right about that. They have the power and know it. Yes it is also sad that I cannot hear them when they comment about my lack of computer knowledge. The hearing loss I experience from time to time runs in the family and they will have to deal with that when they reach my age. I usually ask my dad to help me with computer stuff and he is a good sport about it. Something about the remembering how to do it when he leaves and so I have to ask again and again and again. So much for the 50's being the new 30's.
