Disneyland 2010 Kevins first visit

Kevin loved the tea cup ride. Alison had to stop spinning cause we felt sick.

Kevins FAVORITE (next to Barney) is Woody. He came and got Kevin for the parade.

Kevin wanted to climb over the honey pot and escape us.

Lego Woody. Kinda creepy.

Kevin enjoyed the boat rides. He tried hard to process everything. Wish we knew what he was thinking.

Birthday girl .

Yummy Mexican food that didnt break the bank. Seems every meal or snack is 20 to 30 dollars for 3 people. We brought Kevins food and he was happy with a juice box.

Notice the crackers in Kevins mouth. Takes him awhile to swallow things. He really did well and we hope to take him again with Lindsay and Jared. Helps that we had him in a wheelchair. We got in so quickly at each ride...5 minute wait or less. He does not walk far without pooping out so it was a blessing to have the chair with us. Found a hotel for $98 per nite and it was right across the entrance to the resort.. Opa let us borrow his new van for the trip and that was a major upgrade to first class driving. (thanks dad) I had a wonderful birthday with my family and enjoyed wearing my HAPPY BIRTHDAY pin at Disneyland. I kid you not...every Disney employee that I met wished me a Happy Birthday. Food servers, ride operators, Bert/ Mary Poppins from the parade, and store clerks. Bought myself a $5 bag of kettle corn for my birthday cake. Also scored myself some chocolate chocolate ice cream. (I shared a little)

They came from Utah, Colorado and Texas......

Isabelle hanging out at the ribbon and lace store.

Michelle and Alicia buying out the store to make baby foo-foo stuff.

Presley is done shopping.
We loved having Lisa, Michelle, Alicia and new babies come visit us in Arizona. They are really cute babies and Michelle and Alicia are such good mommies. My mom loved feeding us all and taking lots of pictures with the newest great-grandbabies. Chessie I think its time for another visit so oma and opa can see those California great-grandbabies.

Guess what I did.

Yes I finally did the colon thing. I will never look at Gatorade the same way. Dropped 5 pounds in one day. I am sure I will gain it back this week. Ron took me to the hospital at 6:30 a.m. and home by noon. The lady in admitting asked me why I was having this procedure.................are you kidding me? I told her it wasnt for fun and she laughed and said she had to ask for insurance reasons. The correct answer is for "screening." I think I have years full of "screening" ahead. Something about the 50's and all the fun things that your body does and does not do. (Mostly does not do)

Charcoal and plastic bags dont mix

Paul decided to grill some brats in the firepit. They never cooked so he gave up and let the coals die out. Later that night he checked it out and all was dry so he dumped the ash into the garbage can. Bad idea. The next night we kept smelling BBQ and could not figure out where the smell was coming from. Ron took out some garbage and found the can was full of white smoke and was about to burst into flames. Plastic garbage bags melt pretty good. Lesson learned. No more charcoal for Paul!

Richard and Ronald

We had a short but nice visit with Ron's older brother last Sunday. He brought us some yummy homemade treats from grandma and grandpa white.
