Charcoal and plastic bags dont mix

Paul decided to grill some brats in the firepit. They never cooked so he gave up and let the coals die out. Later that night he checked it out and all was dry so he dumped the ash into the garbage can. Bad idea. The next night we kept smelling BBQ and could not figure out where the smell was coming from. Ron took out some garbage and found the can was full of white smoke and was about to burst into flames. Plastic garbage bags melt pretty good. Lesson learned. No more charcoal for Paul!

We had a short but nice visit with Ron's older brother last Sunday. He brought us some yummy homemade treats from grandma and grandpa white.

4th Advent

We had some yummy goulosh, spaetzle and cookies. Hopefully we will have room for Christmas Eve dinner over at Omas.

Sedona and the Red Rock Mountains

We hiked up to a Chapel built into the mountain side and when you looked down you see this over the top house in the neighborhood.
